Association of Christian Christites caters to the spiritual needs of all the Christian students in Christ Junior College. The activities of the ACC help the students to build strong leadership qualities, enabling them to lead a successful Christian life.
The activities include, leadership training, annual retreat, christmas celebration, holy mass in the first week of every month, prayer sessions, etc.
ACC also conducts out reach programmes, which include visits to hospitals, home for the aged, social work camps during holidays. Inter collegiate competitions on Bible and Christian themes helps them to imbibe Christian values. |

The center facilitates the involvement of students in various development activities related to the society. It instills a taste for social service in students so that through action and interaction, the young Christites grow into responsible citizens of India. The main programmes coordinated by this center are child development programmes, promotion of economic self-reliance among youth and women, rural exposure camps, housing projects for the urban poor, and student exchange programme.
The center also brings out two newsletters called " Not me but you my child" and "We Care" |
The aim of SSA is to provide an environment in which students
make use of opportunities to go beyond the curriculum and
develop their personality. Through several programmes like
skit, debate, quiz etc., the association provides students
space to explore, experiment and execute their talents. Spectrum
also organizes guest lectures and field trips. The annual
newsletter called "Spring" is published by the association.

The college publishes five newsletters a year namely, Write Angle, Iskra, Comlette, Spring and Ankur. Write angle carries literary works and articles in general whereas the Science Association, the Commerce Association, the Social Sciences Association and Prerna - the Language Association respectively bring out the rest of the newsletters to serve their objectives.
Iskra carries scientific articles and scientific news; Comlette generally ponders on developments in the business world; Spring showcases the talent pool of social sciences and Ankur provides opportunity to students to publish their work in any of the languages. The editorial board consists of students who work under the guidance of teachers and gain valuable experience in editing skills. |
Sedes Minerva, the Quiz Club of Christ Junior College provides an ideal platform for students to exhibit their intelligence and talents in many fields. The club organizes quiz sessions periodically under various categories like India quiz, sports quiz etc. 'C-Quest', an inter-collegiate quiz fest is held every year, which attracts many colleges in and around Bangalore.

The Science Forum of Christ Junior College aims at instilling a spirit of enquiry in the minds of students. The major activities of the association are the science projects during summer vacations, guest lectures, field trips, quiz competitions, lecture competitions, etc. The forum also brings out an annual newsletter called "Iskra", prepared and edited by the students.

The aim of the Language Association is to foster understanding towards one's own language and other languages. To achieve this goal the association conducts book exhibitions, guest lectures, essays, poetry competitions. Prerana also celebrates the birthdays of great writers and convenes Language Fest every year.

The objective of Colossus is to tap the business potential of students and encourage them to take up challenges. So, various activities like business quiz, brand wagon, pictionary, logo slogans, and business collage etc., are conducted. These activities provide an opportunity for students to reflect on their ideas, develop their interpersonal and communication skills. These also enhance creativity, promote critical and analytical thinking. Debates and creative advertisement competitions provide a platform for the students to excel and compete with their peers in inter-collegiate fests. To meet the requirement of the students, workshops and guest lectures on career opportunities and communication skills are also conducted. The members of Colossus also play a vital role in bringing out the commerce newsletter, "Comlette".Current Affairs, a regular weekly programme and a short-term course in personality development, "Excel" are also conducted to enhance students' self-esteem and to equip them for Business Schools. |

“Prakruthi”, The Eco Club is a nurturing ground for students from all streams with the sole motto of conserving and protecting the pristine beauty of nature. Here, the students are not only exposed to various activities related to the prevailing environmental issues but also combating it with appropriate action plan. The various activities that eco club organizes also inculcates a sense of discipline, dignity of labour, leadership qualities and builds up the morale and confidence in their endeavors. |
The college band comprising of students adds color and flavor to all the special occasions of the college. Regular practice sessions are held to train the students. |
Christ Junior College provides ample opportunities for students interested in Choir singing. The choir team has been felicitated with number of awards in different competitions conducted by different organizations in and around Bangalore. Choir Practices are held every week under the guidance of coordinators. Interested students are encouraged to join the group.

The English literary club of Christ Junior
College is for the vibrant youngsters of our college who are
talented, energetic and into exploring the literary world.
It gives you opportunities and exposure to - theatre, public
speaking, editing, creative writing, photography, phonetics,
movie screening, film appreciation and so much more. 'Masque'
the theatre club, "Scribe" the writers club, "Bibliotheque"
the readers' Forum and "Cicero's Clique" our debating club,
give you that extra-bit! Competitions test the enormous potentials,
as well as give you a platform to exhibit talents in so many
areas, be it in What's the Good Word, RAP, face painting or
extemp-theatre and extemp-singing to name only a few ! |

The department of Physical Education organizes many sports events and games. Selections for the college team are held in the beginning of the academic year. Special coaching camps are held for football, basketball, volleyball, hockey, cricket and throw ball.
An inter collegiate fest called " ZEST" is conducted every year. This fest fosters and brings out the best in the students. |
Students, who are physically fit are encouraged to join the N. C. C (National Cadet Corps). N.C.C with the motto 'Unity and Discipline' takes into account the overall development of an individual. No 2 Company 9 Kar Batallion (only army wing) offers training for both boys and girls in firing, social service, parasailing, horse riding, rock climbing, firing, mountaineering, cycle expedition, trekking etc.
Cadets are eligible for B and C certificates after two and three years of training respectively. Cadets possessing these certificates can directly join the defence forces as officers. They are given preference in Defence Services, Police Services, Paramilitary forces, Fire Forces, BSF, TA, Industrial Security Forces, Public Sector, Uniform Services. B certificate holders are eligible for N. C. C quota for CET and all other professional courses. |
