Training Programmes  
Some of the training programmes that are conducted for I and II PU students are as follows:
EXCEL (I & II PU Students)

The Personality Development programme The programme is designed to help students emerge out of their inhibition and learn basic skills like presentation skills, group discussions, reading skills, written presentation, interview skills etc. The programme helps the students to explore their hidden abilities and emerge as stronger human beings and sustain their strengths.

Duration :

  • 2 weeks (III & IV weeks of June)

Days :

  • Monday to Friday - 3 to 4.30 pm
  • Saturday - 2 to 5 pm

Coaching for All India Entrance Examinations (AIEEE, AIMS, and other National Entrance Exams) (I & II PU Students)

  • Intensive Entrance coaching programme Starting from March 14, 2008 (II PU batch)
    General and subject wise orientation to provide awareness of all national level entrance examinations and Olympiad examinations in various subjects.
  • Students can opt for PCM, PCB or PCMB combinations. One session per week for every subject.
  • Tests will be conducted on a regular basis and results will be displayed on the college website for the self assessment of students.
  • Every session will also include study skills like time management, memory power enhancement etc.
  • Students, who join this course are eligible to take books from the special competitive sections of our library.

Duration :

  • 1 year course (only for II PUC)
  • 2 year course (conducted for I & II PUC)

Training Schedule for the Academic year, 2010-11

Coaching for Law Entrance Examinations (I & II PU Students)

In this course students are trained by Law School Tutorials (LST) faculty visiting our campus. We have introduced a 124-hour coaching programme, which includes modules on Legal reasoning, Mathematical reasoning, Language comprehension and General awareness. This is a comprehensive course with mock tests. The study material is provided by LST. A revision programme will be conducted before the students take the entrance examination (30 days).

Duration :

  • 2 weeks (III & IV weeks of June)

Days :

  • Monday to Friday - 3 to 4.30 pm,
  • Saturday - 2 to 5 pm

Common Proficiency Test (CPT) (II PU Students)

Students aspiring for a career in Charted Accountancy will benefit from this entrance training programme. The classes are conducted by the Christ University faculty. The subjects under this programme are

  • Mercantile Law
  • Economics
  • Accountancy
  • Statistics
  • Mathematics

  • 6 months

Days :

  • Monday and Friday - 3 to 4.30 pm
  • Saturday - 1 to 4 pm
Coaching for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K-CET) (II PU Students)

To provide an extra edge to the engineering and medical aspirants of our college, we are offering an extensive training programme for K-CET examinations.

Objective:
The students need to empower themselves with rich subject knowledge to face the examinations confidently, which in turn would help them to get into esteemed institutions. This course improves the students' ability of reasoning, critical thinking, logical thinking and time management.

About the course and the material
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K-CET) is conducted for the purpose of determining the eligibility/merit for admission of Karnataka candidates in Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy and Yoga, Engineering, Technology and Architecture courses in institutions within the State of Karnataka. Non- Karnataka students (students not eligible to be considered in the Karnataka quota) cannot appear for K-CET. They can only appear for COMED-K examination. Study materials covering the entire syllabi of I PU and II PU will be provided. Each chapter starts with all the relevant explanations in a nutshell under the captions- Synopsis, with the additional information required for K-CET. A student is required to refer to the books available in the library. Most of the questions will be discussed in the class. However, the "exercise" questions should be worked out by the students themselves and the key to those questions will be given in the following classes.

  • Saturday - 1 to 4 pm

Integrated Course in Mathematics, Accountancy and Statistics (I & II PU Students)

The course is designed specially for the students, who want to pursue commerce or management studies. Students who do not study Mathematics, Statistics and Accountancy at the PU level will benefit from this course. The course covers the fundamental aspects of these subjects enabling the students to take up various courses with relative ease in future.
Examination will be conducted after the completion of the programme

  • 6 months (100 hours)

Days :

  • Tuesday (Mathematics) 3 to 4.30 pm
  • Wednesday (Accountancy) 3 to 4.30 pm
  • Thursday (Statistics) 3 to 4.30 pm

Certificate course on Computer Assembling and Trouble shooting (I & II PU Students)

Department of Electronics in association with HCL computers is organizing a short term Certificate course on Computer Assembling and Trouble shooting

Duration :
