The No. 2 Coy, 9 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Christ University has a history of three expeditions conducted previously namely, 'Sadbhavana Yatra' in 2004 with the theme of unity, the second being 'Sakshartha Yatra ' in 2005 being the first joint Motor Cycle Expedition involving the Senior Division and the Senior Wing it focused on literacy and women empowerment followed by the third expedition 'Santhwana Yatra' in 2006 which crossed seas to touch Andaman Islands on the third anniversary of Tsunami to empathize with the victims.

After three years they are back on roads for their fourth 'Motor Cycle Expedition' . The team left for "HERITAGE YATRA" on 22nd December 2009 .The team was flagged off by Air Cmde Ravi Dhar ,VSM ,Deputy Director General, Karnataka and Goa . The aim of this year's expedition was to spread AWARENESS about the destruction of the rich heritage and to protect our precious historical sites that are on the verge of ruin so that the coming generations will witness the glory of our land.
