A Report on the Library Fest
BIBLIOMANIA-2009 was inaugurated on 8th September 2009.
Dr. Krishnaswami, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences,
Christ University inaugurated the fest in the presence of
our Vice Principal Rev. Fr. Biju. It was followed by an
invocation Song and a Skit based on the theme "World Literacy
Day" named "Parivarthana", organized by PRERANA, the language
association. The significance of this fest was the commemoration
of World Literacy Day.
During the four days fest students exhibited their collection
of stamps and coins, paintings made by them and other creative
works. Latest arrivals of books and novels were alos displayed.
Competitions like Crossword, Dumb Charades and Quiz were
conducted to kindle renewed interest in books. A few book
suppliers were also invited to put up stalls and showcase their
latest arrivals.

Book Review |
The events witnessed a large participation. The exhibition and book review went a long way in inspiring students. The fest concluded on September 11, 2009 with the distribution of prizes by our Vice Principal, Fr. Biju.
