June 17, 2010 was chosen for the inauguration of Science Forum Activities. The formal programme began at 9:00 am with the invocation, rendered by the choir group. Rev. Fr. Dr. Jose. C.C, Prinicipal addressed the gathering and spoke about education standards in different countries. He also stressed that India in general and Bangalore in particular have given importance to many science related institutes. Mrs. Amatur Roquia, Co-ordinator of Science Forum read out the welcome address. Prof. K.Vijay RAghavan, Director, National Centre for Biological Sciences, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Bangalore, Chief Guest for the day, urged the students to actively participate in the activities, planned by the forum. A documentary on conservation of biodiversity, made by the students was screened. This was followed by the reading session of the schedule of Science Forum activities. During the formal programme, the oath was administered to the President and the Vice President of the forum by the past President. The programme came to an end with the college Anthem, rendered by the choir and joined by the audience.
