Experiences of the top scorers of II PU Board examinations 2014

I am thankful to the management for giving me an opportunity to study in this college. I liked the college very much as it had a blend of curricular and extracurricular activities. It was a very nice experience for two years. All the lecturers were very friendly and used to clear all my doubts any time. A good environment and a good library is a blessing for any Institution, which enabled me to do well. Thank you.

Christ Junior College, the temple of learning was a great place for a person like me to achieve my target and realize my dreams. I profusely thank Fr. Jose C C and Fr. Sebastian for their support and encouragement. I sincerely thank my teachers, who stood as a backbone and helped me to achieve this great feat. I also extend my thanks to my parents, who have supported at every step of my life. Big thanks to my Uncle who instilled confidence in me, who has been a strong pillar in achieving a state rank. Sincere thanks to all my friends, who have been a constant source of support.

When I first entered the campus, I had mixed feelings of pursuing my education. But I when joined this institution, I experienced the difference between a Christite and any other PU student. The participation in co-curricular and extracurricular activities brought the fear out of me and instilled confidence in me, to be bold and to excel. And today, I am proud about my achievement and announce that I have excelled.

Someone once said “To travel is better than to arrive”.The journey has been amazing. Christ Junior College is one of the finest Institutions in Bangalore to study. It offers more than just quality education. It helps expand one’s horizons.

I came here as an introvert and even before I knew it, I had a huge family of friends. Co-curricular activities just attracted me to this great Institution, where education and co-curricular activities are given equal importance. This institution made me a better person, a better dancer and most important, a better human being. The college gave me an opportunity to form a dance team, Team Panache, which was a huge success. Though I was into dancing all the time, Teachers helped me to understand the concepts after class hours. Thus, I can firmly and confidently say that without the help of the teachers, I would not have made it this far. It would be incomplete if I do not thank my parents and my sister, who did everything possible on the earth to make my life comfortable and do well in my studies. Christ Junior College just made my life complete!

These two years at Christ Junior College (CJC) is something that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I am very lucky for having studied in such a deemed Institution and to stand second in the Science stream is like the cherry on the top. The constant encouragement given to me by all my teachers helped me to score well in the exam that has led to this achievement.
They always guided and helped me in all my endeavours. Also, the young and vibrant crowd here at Christ, which is filled with different kinds of talent pushed me to take another step towards this achievement of mine.

Megha S (586/600)

No journey is complete without its struggle and every victory has its story of hardships and hard work. As I write this note, I am humbled beyond words with my success. None of this would be possible without the constant motivation and guidance of my teachers. This college has provided me with amazing opportunities, both academic and extra-curricular, and that I believe helped me learn lessons in multitasking and to perform to the best of my abilities.

Being part of student welfare office made many believe that it takes away from ones academic growth. However, with the right mix of admonishing and motivation, the Department of Commerce helped me stand where I am today. It was taught to me that hard work, humility and perseverance will take one a long way. For all this and more, I am truly indebted to my teachers and college.

Christ Junior College has given me a wonderful platform for me to showcase my academic as well extracurricular activities. It has fulfilled its mission and truly has worked for my holistic development. Supportive and encouraging teachers and staff have played a very big role in these two years. I am ever grateful to them. The teachers mentor us, guide us and put us in the right path. I thank one and all.

Amogha Udupa S G (585/600)

My admission in Christ Junior College was unexpected and so was the course. For a person like me to blend into such a diverse environment and culture seemed difficult. But the two wonderful years I spent in this college changed me for the better and inculcated a sense of belonging in me.

CJC is like a world within itself. One has all the opportunities to explore oneself – be it dance, music, sports or academics. Besides, Christ also rewards you for your efforts and this inspires you to do better. The concern of the teachers, caring staff and wonderful classmates make one believe in the beauty of college life. I think a true Christite is one who stands out of the crowd and I think I am a true and proud Christite at heart (and will always remain so!). Every tear that poured out of my eyes on my graduation day was worthy of itself as it defined all my wonderful moments in Christ. I love Christ Junior College.

With nervous steps I entered, with sturdy hands they held me… Today, I stand as a proud Social Sciences student of Christ Junior College. With the plethora of opportunities being provided in the campus and the nurturing of my teachers, I have been able to explore and develop my potential.
I have had an amazing experience being a part of the Bangalore Science Forum Lecture Contest, Master of Ceremonies for various events and the Choir. By the wonderful grace of God, I reflect on my journey of being a Christite with immense joy and gratitude in my heart.
